According to ISTAT, the Italian foreign trade of plastics and rubber machinery, equipment and moulds recorded in January-May 2017 a 14% growth at imports and a 13% growth at exports, compared to the same period of 2016.
For what concerns sales abroad, which represent around 70% of national production, a good trend was performed in particular by the core machinery:
- injection moulding presses, +10%
- extruders, +21%
- blow moulding machines, +3%
- thermoformers, +23%.
As well, flexographic printing machines and moulds recorded good results, achieving a 17% and a 16% increase respectively.
