The 20th edition of PLASTIMAGEN (March 8-11, 2016), main sectoral exhibition in Mexico, started yesterday at Centro Banamex Fairgrounds in Mexico City.
The organizer E.J. KRAUSE expects about 30,000 visitors throughout the four exhibition days.
At the end of the first day, the flow was not particularly high even though, as it happens in most of the exhibitions, the first day is not always particularly significant. We should therefore wait for the end of today to have a more precise evaluation.
The Mexican economic contest seems to be overall positive, despite the not so favorable political context. In fact, the President Enrique Peña Nieto – despite his strong government - has been affected by a series of scandals occurred in the country.
A detailed report with information also about the number of visitors will be available at the end of the exhibition in the reserved area of our website.
On behalf of our Association – which is coordinating the Italian pavilion with about 30 Italian companies – Mario Maggiani and Eleonora Iula are on site at ASSOCOMAPLAST stand n. 532.
We invite all our Members as well as the plastics and rubber operators in general to pay a visit, taking advantage of our buffet, available for our visitors and for the Italian exhibitors and their customers/agents during exhibition hours.
