PLASTICS & RUBBER Indonesia opens its doors today in Jakarta but so far the number of visitors is lower than expected.
The Indonesian Vice-Minister of Industry was on site and also visited the small Italian Pavillion (including AMUT, BAUSANO, MORETTO e TECNOVA). He underlined how the local plastics processing industry needs advanced technology, most of all for packaging and recycling.
Packaging is a fast growing field (using 70% of the local plastics consumption); as for recycling, investments and implementation plans have already been announced.
ASSOCOMAPLAST is in Jakarta with an institutional booth in Hall A2 nr. 2320: Mrs Stefania Arioli will welcome both Member companies and trade operators, sharing trends and forecasts on the local market and useful information about the next edition of PLAST (Milan, May 29-June 1 2018).
