ASSOCOMAPLAST Member Assembly, which took place on June 28 2012 in CESAP conference room in Verdellino-Zingonia, has reappointed Giorgio Colombo as President of the trade Association for the next three years (2012-2015) and Alessandro Grassi was confirmed as vice-President.
About ten Italian companies, within an Italian collective participation coordinated by ASSOCOMAPLAST, will be attending the 14th edition of ARGENPLAS, the main trade sectoral exhibition in Argentina – organized by REED EXHIBITION with the support of CAIP (national Association of the plastics industry) - scheduled from June 18-22, 2012.
The 16th edition of PLAST will start on Tuesday, May 8 with an opening conference - in the Aquarius Room of the Congress Center of Fiera Milano in Rho - which will focus on a speech by Professor Marco Fortis - economist of Edison Foundation - about situation and prospects for the Italian plastics and rubber industry.
A few days before PLAST 2012 (Fiera Milano, May 8-12) the identity card of the main European sectoral exhibition devoted to the plastics and rubber industry appears definitively.

Assocomaplast has derived projections for production, imports, and exports in the sector for the entire year 2011 on the basis of data from the Italian National Statistics Institute (ISTAT) for the first nine months of the year, which highlight excellent performance in exports and general stability of the domestic market.
