The 18th edition of EQUIPLAST (the main triennial show in Spain for the plastics and rubber industry) is starting today in Barcelona and will last until October 6.
As it often happens, the first opening hours are characterized by a small turnout of visitors, most of them gathered around the stands of manufacturers exhibiting working machines.

Expectations for tomorrow are not encouraging: a general strike is confirmed in the capital of Catalonia, heavily hit by the the well-known turmoils following the referendum for the independence of the region .
