The third edition of PlastPrintPack Ethiopia + Agrofood Ethiopia, organized by Fairtrade, began today in Addis Ababa.
Some 150 exhibitors from 17 countries will showcase their innovations until May 11. The turnout of trade operators all along the day was quite satisfactory. Our Association's stand was visited by many plastics and rubber players, asking for information and contact details of our Italian manufacturers. The latest issue of MacPlas magazine and the list of AMAPLAST Members was also distributed.
On the occasion of the opening ceremony, Ethiopian ministerial officials confirmed that the country is going through a remarkable growth, announcing development plans in different fields: agriculture and packaging are the most promising ones.
The local middle-class, characterized by a significant share of young people, is driving consumption.
Ms Stefania Arioli is onsite attending AMAPLAST/ACIMGA's informative booth (n. A1, Millenium Hall) and is willing to exchange ideas and opinions on the local trade market, show all the Association activities and give you information on the next edition of our exhibition PLAST, that will take place in Milan from May 4 to 7, 2021.
We invite all our Members and plastics and rubber operators to pay a visit and taste a good Italian espresso.
