It is available the press release of PLAST 2021 Secretariat, confirming the upcoming event in Milan, from May 4 to 7, 2021.
The organizer underlines that the effect of the pandemic strongly conditioned the worldwide exhibition situation, in our sector, as well as for important events of packaging and converting sector, as for Interpack and Drupa, that were expected in May and June 2020 then postponed to 2021.
This forced some exhibitions within the project THE INNOVATION ALLIANCE – among them IPACK-IMA and PRINT4ALL- to be held in 2022, while PLAST confirms its original dates in 2021.
This choice is evidently generated by this extraordinary situation of the last few months and has been taken in order to avoid overlapping that would have impact companies and operators, considering that in 2022 also K show in Duesseldorf will be held.
PLAST Secretariat has therefore restarted its activity and, considering the stop in March and April – decided to extend to July 31, 2020 the application deadline, in order to receive allocation proposals by the end of September.
Considering that almost 450 direct exhibitors confirmed their participation, with an area of 35.000 sqm, with 1/5 of foreign exhibitors, beyond several Italian braches of international manufacturers, PLAST will be the most relevant event in Europe in 2021 for the plastics and rubber sector, confirming to be an important moment of interaction between operators of the sector in order to promote investments.
