During the first half of the current year, compared to the same period of 2014, the sales of plastics and rubber machinery of the three major manufacturing countries (China, Germany, Italy) towards the BRICS markets showed different performances. All the three manufacturers increased their exports to Brazil and consolidated those to South Africa whilst different scenarios appear for what concerns Russia – which is a critical and troubled destination for the Europeans, surpassed by the Chinese – and India. Regarding China, the developing trend of the local manufacturing industry, both in quantitative and qualitative terms, sustained by the local Government as well, restrains the Italian and German sales.
