The 30th edition of CHINAPLAS started on April 25, 2016 at the International Expo Centre SNIEC in Shanghai.
According to the first numbers released by the organizer, the gross area occupied by CHINAPLAS 2016 is about 240,000 sqm, subdivided into 17 main Halls and 14 temporary structures set up in the central arena of the SNIEC.
Some 3,800 machines and equipment are displayed by the 3,300 exhibiting companies, coming from 40 countries.
During this first day of CHINAPLAS, the gangways of the Halls looked very crowded with more than 40,200 visitors. The organizer expects more than 140,000 operators from all over the world throughout the four exhibition days.
Mario Maggiani and Stefania Arioli are on site on behalf of ASSOCOMAPLAST (Hall E2, stand E55), which is coordinating the Italian pavilion with about 60 companies on a net surface of about 1,700 sqm.
