Since the early 1950s, Italian manufacturers have offered a complete range of original, reliable and innovative machines.
AMAPLAST members are classified as Effective Members (companies that design, manufacture and sell machines, equipment or moulds for plastics and rubber) and Associated Members (companies that complement the Effective Members).
AMAPLAST takes part in the main sectoral exhibitions abroad with an information booth to help visitors get in touch with Italian companies.
AMAPLAST owns 100% of the commercial company PROMAPLAST Srl, which has the aim of implementing the activity programs decided by the Board of Directors.
PROMAPLAST Srl publishes the bimonthly technical magazine MACPLAS, with a total circulation of 7,000 copies in Italy, as well as the internet version MACPLAS ONLINE (www.macplas.it/en/) and the bi-weekly newsletter MACPLAS E-NEWS. Localized editions are published during the principal world exhibitions to accompany the Italian collective pavilions.

According to the complex trade show calendar of our sector, in the process of being reconstituted after the upheavals of the emergency, PLAST has been therefore rescheduled from 5 to 8 September 2023, always in Milan (for more details: www.plastonline.org/en).
While waiting for PLAST 2023, PROMAPLAST srl introduces the new exhibition GREENPLAST - an event dedicated to innovative solutions to boost environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, options for Reducing-Reusing-Recycling, and progress towards a circular economy - that took place in Milan from 3 to 6 May 2022.
Within GREENPLAST, an international conference was also hosted, with the attendance of worldwide renowned speakers, and devoted to the key issues of the trade fair, with particular focus on plastics packaging and products.
The new exhibition was hold together with other international trade shows (IPACK-IMA, PRINT4ALL, INTRALOGISTICA and PHARMINTECH). Such coincidence, not by chance, has offered a showcase of several productive sectors, united by a strong complementarity (for more details: www.greenplast.org/en). Next edition is scheduled from May 27 to 30, 2025.
AMAPLAST, through CESAP (Centre for the Development of Plastics Applications), organizes technical training programmes and supports research and new applications of processing technologies and new materials for plastics processors and users.
